Recorded
Software kept the books. A human did the work and the thinking; the machine remembered what was done.
For seventy years it kept the records of work, and then it assisted with it. Now it files, approves, pays and decides on its own. MIMUSE builds for what that change demands: products in which what a machine did can be shown, traced to its authority, and put right.
One production system. A series of enterprise products, composed from certified parts and governed at the foundations.
Software kept the books. A human did the work and the thinking; the machine remembered what was done.
Software sped the work. A human still sat at every decision; the machine suggested, sorted and searched.
Software does the work. Agents act on intentions, at machine speed, inside businesses — and the question stops being does it work and becomes who answers for it.
A system that acts must be able to account for itself. That is not a feature to be added. It is a foundation to be built on.
MIMUSE is building a series of enterprise software products on a single production system — a catalogue of certified components from which each product is composed. The families are ordered by how near they are to market.
Products are assembled from components that already exist and already carry proof. Machine assistance selects, orders and adapts; it does not invent.
Every component is certified before it may appear in any product: interface contracts, executable tests, independent adversarial audit, a recorded grade bound to the exact specification. Change the specification and the proof is void until re-earned.
No model runs on a product’s operating paths. Intelligence is in the parts and the plan; the performance is arithmetic. Behaviour and cost are therefore predictable — which is what work that must answer for itself requires of them.
If your organisation carries duties the law keeps adding to, or advises those who do — or if you are letting agents loose on work that matters — we would like to hear from you.
